British military Royal Navy Long Sea Service Flintlock Pistol circa. 1770’s. 12”, .577 (regulation) round steel barrel w/ (2) Tower Proofs, Lock marked; PATTISON who made this gun under contract with the Royal Navy. Stock is solid with some normal scratches and dings. Stores keeper markings on stock : small Crown stamped into stock behind the rear of lock, small crown stamped on stock behind rear of the left side plate. This gun has lots of proofs and store keeper marks. - very interesting and historical. Metal has light corrosion including bbl. Lock. Brass regulation furniture. 19.5” Overall length. A very nice example that could have seen service during the American Revolutionary War. In good working order, locks up well on half cock and full cock.
