Description:
These little guns were produced from 1860 to 1868. The serial number range is continued from the Number 1 1st issue and starts with 11672 and continues until 126361. This one is Serial Number 13800. The gun has all of it's silver plating on the frame and 90% of the blue on the barrel. The cylinder is turning a plumb color.The grips are as new. The bore has good rifeling with light pitting. You will have to look a long time to find a better one. The gutta perch case featured the gun embossed on the lid. Gutta Percha is very fragile and this one is all togeather but does have some cracks and losses. I tried to show them all in the pictures. I collected Smiths for a long time and never had a better set.
