This is the configuration that everyone is looking for! Manufactured in 1964 (pre-salt) with the long trigger guard tang and round knob pistol grip, this 28 gauge Browning Superposed has 28 inch barrels and is choked Improved Cylinder and Modified. This is an original "untouched" example that is in excellent condition. The factory blue finish rates 95% plus with only some very minor wear on the high edges of the bottom of the receiver, and the long trigger guard tang. The original stock set is equally as nice, with only some tiny handling marks on great looking wood with no cracks or repairs. The 28 inch barrels are dent free with a nice and tight vent rib with a silver bead sight. The bluing on the barrels looks great with only a couple of small spots of oxidation that I have pictured. As you can see from the pictures, these blemishes are very minor and do not detract from their overall appearance. The bores in this Browning are excellent, both the top and bottom bores are bright and clean with no pitting. The only way this gun would be any better is if it still had the original box it was shipped in. This Superposed will make someone a classy and beautiful shooter that they can be proud of in any situation and setting. These small gauge Browning Superposed shotguns have been proven to be an excellent investment, and with reasonable care this shotgun could be shot for many seasons and it will continue to appreciate in value. This is a rare combination to find in any condition, so we are very pleased to offer this beautiful all original gun for sale.
