This Smith & Wesson No. 3. Navy Revolver is in .44 S&W Russian caliber. comes with Holster and Belt Rig. The Holster, is marked, "CAMERON & SWEENY/GRAND JUNCTION /COLO.". This company has a shop in Colorado at the turn of the Century. The belt is California Clip point and unmarked. approx. 41" long. 5 of the loops have stiching that need to be re-stiched. Leather is soft on the rig and in very good condition. bottom of holster has been shortened. The Revolver has a 6" barrel with a strong rifled bore. This was manf. between 1881-1888. Double action and Single action both are strong. And the action indexes and is in excellent condition. The metal retains traces of the original blue and balance is smooth Brown Patina. The hammer and trigger still show case colors. All numbered parts match the Serial #35483. The aged Ivory Grips are in fine condition. This Revolver is of the far scarcer blued configuration.
