#48793, Winchester Model 70 Pre-64 in 30-06 Made in 1942, Excellent & Original condition, 24" barrel, The receiver bridge never drilled or tapped, Correct Pre-War safety, Correct Buckhorn style rear sight with the thumb elevator, Factory front sight hood, Early style machined integral front ramp, Pre-War 3 position safety, Standard Model 70 hinged floorplate, Standard point pattern checkering, Sling eyes & swivels, 13 11/16" LOP over the factory checkered steel buttplate, 8 lbs. 3 oz., The original barrel blue is 94%, The receiver blue is 98%, The floorplate & trigger guard is 90%, The bolt knob is 98%, The buttplate has 90% blue, The original wood finish at 88%, The checkering is 92%, The bore is absolutely as new. This is a very honest and nice 1942 Model 70. We have 8 more Pre-64 Model 70's in 30-06 and 4 each in 270 Winchester.
