Description:
Difficult to tell this Smith & Wesson 629-1 from new, the metal is crisp and bright with no dings gouges or scratches. The bore is excellent, the mechanics and lock up are as good as it gets. The gun came wit ha set of Pachmayr black rubber grips but i put a set of period correct wood grips (95% condition solid with sharp checkering but some flaking finish) on it because i think it looks better that way, though i readily admit the other grips are far more comfortable when shooting so they are included. 8 3/8" barrel, smooth target trigger, adjustable rear sight. red ramp front sight.
