Description:
A true drop lock from Westley this gun has great barrels and great dimensions. Notice it only weighs a little over 6 1/2 pounds! If you are not familiar with the drop lock it is basically a boxlock shotgun with hand detachable locks. They can be removed in seconds with no tools. This is very handy for cleaning and if you happen to have extra lock sets one can change them almost instantly in the field if a lock malfunctions. We do not have extra lock sets for this gun but the good news is they are actually very reliable having been developed in 1897 and the design still in use today by Westley Richards. An excellent action that has stood the test of time.
