SOLD Pending Funds / Luger Mauser Banner 06/34 "Portuguese Contract" Pistol. “Extremely Rare”, serial # 4304 v, matching except the magazine, cal. 9mm Luger, with a 4'' barrel and an excellent bright bore. Pistol retains 90% original blue finish overall with wear on the high spots, small parts retain 80%+ bright straw color overall. The frame has "SEGURANCA" marked safe position & "GELADEN" marked extractor, with MAUSER BANNER marked toggle, comes with one fxo E/37 P.08 magazine. The grips show some wear especially the right grip and are not marked which is proper. Pistol is Crown/U proofed. This specific Luger is one of "50" Luger pistols manufactured for the second Portuguese contract in 1937 and falls into the serial number range "4301v-4350v". Comes with a P08 fxo E/37 coded mag electric pencil numbered 6957 that works but has a few dings. This is a very scarce early military contract Luger that is rarely encountered in the U.S. today and its overall condition as photographed and described is very good – very good plus.
