Made in 1972 .In the original factory case.
22” barrel with perfect bore , bluing in 98% condition. Fix Leupold mount with a Zeiss Diatal C 10x36. Weight with the scope is 9 pounds. The rubber cover of the objectives have age cracks. Gorgeous 90% coverage engraving gold inlay game scenes by J. Lewanczyk, scroll by F Pauwels.
Stock has original Browning plate at 14” LOP.
The rifle had a very sheltered life but has a few vault rashes.
The stock and forend are in 90 %+ condition original high gloss finish.
The checkering and tasteful carvings are in 99% condition.
Top of the line BAR , the grade V was made from 1971 to 1974, and the large flat sides of the action were an ideal canvas for the FN’s top engravers.
