Over 75, 000 Model 2 revolvers were manufactured between 1861 and 1874 in blue or nickel finish.THIS SPECIMEN IS SOLD AS A NON-SHOOTING COLLECTOR PIECE ONLY.

Metal Condition: The wrought iron frame & cylinder has received a significant amount of surface rust to the point that it is hard to tell if this was blued or nickel plated in original form.
Wood Condition: The grips are worn and the right panel exhibits a crack at the butt.
Bore Condition: Rusty and dark with pitting throughout. Rifling remains visible
Barrels: 4 1/2" may have been cut down from a longer barrel
Triggers: Spur Trigger
Stock: Rosewood Square Butt
Weight: 24 oz
Sights: Brass blade front dovetailed into the barrel rib. Metal leaf rear dovetailed into the barrel rib. These sights appear to have been added.
