Description:
Serial #W3202, .38/200 British (.38 S&W), 5” barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a small amount of very light freckling. This double-action only revolver has matching numbers on the frame, cylinder, and barrel with the metal retaining about 85-90% of the original phosphate finish with a noticeable turn-ring around the cylinder as well as some silvering along the raised edges, projections, and bearing surfaces. The grooved wooden grips are in good-very good shape with several minor handling marks and small surface scuffs, as well as about 75-80% of the original black painted finish remaining. The lock-up is still tight, the mechanism functions flawlessly, and there is a small import stamp on the underside of the barrel. This is a fine example of a wartime Enfield revolver, and would be a great addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
