Description:
Serial #4K98619, .357 Magnum, 4” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a nice, pinned and recessed revolver that retains 95-97% of the original blue finish, with silvering at the muzzle, as well as along the high edges and bearing surfaces. Some further mild silvering is present on the thumb-latch, and there is a small and unobtrusive import mark inside the yoke cut-out (not visible with the cylinder closed). The wide target hammer and trigger have most of the original color case-hardening remaining with a few very small areas of gray fading along the sides. The checkered, very darkly finished walnut S&W medallion grips are in very good condition with numerous small handling marks and surface scratches, as well as some mild flattening of the points. This is a lightly used Model 19, and is in very good plus condition. FFL
