Up for sale today is a US Springfield Model 1898 Krag serial no. 138816 chambered in caliber .30-40 Krag. This excellent original Krag shows a mint bore, an 1898 dated cartouche and excellent original finish on both wood and metal. This rifle is equipped with a rear sight from a Model 1896 Krag which is correct for a Model 1898 made in this time period. A very fine shooter and a great addition to any collection.
