JAPANESE PERCUSSION BOX LOCK SINGLE SHOT .50 CAL. PISTOL WITH KANJI INSCRIPTION. CIRCA 1860’S. 11” o/a with 5” round smoothbore barrel having a Japanese Kanji inscription on the right side. Probably an official inscription related to police or constabulary use. Original grey patina. Wood grip refinished. Belt hook on left side of frame. Working order.
