PRICE REDUCED - $3500.00 FINAL LISTING! 3rd Generation Colt 44-40, 44 Special, "C coverage" engraved by master engraver Bernie Wolfe. 4 3/4" BBL, dual engraved cylinders, antique nickel finish, fire blue screws, GRIPS: smooth IVORY without medallions - custom checkered at a later date, professionally. Special order BLACK POWDER FRAME, " action job" on mechanism, bright, shiny bore with VG lands/grooves."Frontier Six Shooter" engraved on BBL, "Wolfe" inscribed on frame, Nimschke style scroll engraving. Serial #SA67726, 1996 Colt Factory Letter (shipped 1995), personal letter from Bernie to me dated April,1996, verifying that he engraved this firearm. Included is an original Colt box and a copy of "Single Action Revolvers" that has a picture of a "sister gun" on the cover with a short article inside regarding Bernie Wolfe and his guns. The firearm is in extremely fine condition. There is no damage, functions flawlesly, a very fine and rare, collectible gun. All markings correct. The gun has not been fired since in my possession. ( I am a collector only)
