About 80% of the original nickel is intact. There are still traces of the case colors on the hammer. The nitre blue on the cylinder pin and screws is still visible. The gun has an early, black-powder frame with a bullseye ejector. It also features unique, dual Steer head ivory grips that were probably dealer-supplied.  There is some flaking on the cylinder and top of the frame. The bore is clean and free of pits. The early, black-powder style rifling is intact. This is a nice, early, unmolested, high-condition Colt SAA.
