It is US-marked on the heel of the grip. The grip has a strong cartouche of 1876, the second year of production. The right grip has "CW". The bore has scattered pitting, but strong rifling. The blue is thinning on the right side of the frame, with stronger finish on the left side. The finish on the barrel has scattered finish loss, possibly from blood. There are strong case colors on the top and sides of the hammer. This gun is mechanically crisp and tight.
