I have for sale a lovely Merkel 47E in 20 gauge. This gun features 28 inch barrels with Improved Cylinder (.006) and Modified (.015) chokes. Both bores measure .627 and the chambers are 3 inch. The gun has case colored, scalloped receiver with scroll engraving, sideclips, disc set strikers, Greener crossbolt, and double triggers. The stock has nice figure with straight grain through the wrist area for strength. Stock dimensions are 1 1/2 X 2 1/2 X 14 5/16 over the original butt plate. Stock has 1/4 inch cast off for the right hand shooter. There is also a Decelerator pad that has been fitted to the gun for anyone needing a longer length of pull. Simply unscrew the original butt plate and screw on the pad, simple as that. Weight of the gun is a nice 6 pounds 3.5 ounces. Gun somes with a Merkel luggage case, the original and correct box and all original paperwork. If you are looking at this ad you already know the legendary Merkel quality. This gun will give the new owner many years of quality service at a very attractive price. Condition is excellent plus, with only slight wear to the protective lacquer finish on the receiver.
