Antique Stevens Second Issue New Model Pocket Rifle
With Shoulder Stock!
Here is a Stevens Second Issue New Model Pocket Rifle with shoulder stock. This is a tip-up barrel, single shot rifle in .32 rimfire. It made a fantastic plinker and utility gun. The Second Issue New Model Pocket Rifle was made from 1872 through 1875.
There is a lot of finish still on this little gun. The sights are a combination style. The front has a hooded bead, with a blade sight on the top of the hood. The rear sight is a combination peep sight, with a V notch on top.
Imagine how many boys took these into the woods during this gun’s hey-day.
This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction.
Barrel is 15 inches in length.
Caliber: .32 rimfire
Bore is rifled and in good condition and the firearm is in great working order.
