Antique Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Musket
This is “The Gun that Won the West”
Here is a Winchester Model 1873 Third Model lever action Musket. This rifle was manufactured in 1895, making it a true antique. Coined “the gun that won the West”, it saw plenty of hard use all over the United States, but most famously in the West during the latter quarter of the 19th century.
This gun is in military musket configuration, and has lots of stories to tell.
This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Other examples online are listed at over $13,000.
Barrel is round and 30 inches in length, much longer that the standard 24 inch rifle barrel.
Caliber: .44 W.C.F.
Bore is rifled and in good condition and the firearm is in good working order. The second barrel band is loose due to a screw missing in action, but certainly repairable. We leave the decision to you!
