FACTORY ENGRAVED Antique COLT Second Model Deringer Pistol
Scroll Engraved from the Factory
Here we present an antique Colt Second Model Deringer pistol. Made from 1870-1890, this little pistol only saw a total production of 9000. This is one of the few Colt pistols to come standard from the factory with scroll engraving.
Chambered in .41 rimfire, this little single-shot packed a sizeable projectile. The wood grips are hand-checkered, and the iron frame bears light engraving. The address is on top of the barrel.
Serial numbered “5557”.
Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Only one example found and it is selling for $2200.
Barrel is 2.5 inches in length and the overall length is 6.5 inches.
Caliber: .41 rimfire
Bore is in good condition and the firing mechanism is exceptional.
