Ithaca M-49 Lever Action .22 LR
Introduced in 1961 and sold until 1979, Ithaca M49 looks like a conventional lever action repeater. At closer look it's really a single-shot falling block carbine. These inexpensive little carbines were modeled after the a rifle used in a popular TV show of the time. This is a great starter rifle, for any age. Then again maybe this is the rifle you learned to shoot on and you are missing it from your collection. Either way this particular rifle is in really good condition for it’s age. The bore is bright and shinny. The wood furniture is in great shape. And the factory paint is still on the receiver.
