Antique Art Nouveau sterling silver desktop ink removal eraser scarper tool. Was used for scraping off wax based ink and wax seals of yesteryear. Edges very sharp. dating from around 1830. A combination tool. The long blade for cutting the shaft of the feather and fashioning the point; the smaller blade for erasing or cutting the slit. The reprousse design is the same on both sides.
