Description:
Standard configuration saddle ring carbine with a 20" bbl. The whole gun is very dark with a deep chocolate patina to the metal. Wood is also very dark from oil staining. This looks like it may have been an Old West Scabbard gun. Forearm is pretty well dinged up. It is all there though. It does have the standard rear ladder sight. Front sight insert is missing. Action works and is rather smooth. The hammer cocks and works properly. This old gun has a lot of eye appeal. It has the "been there done that" look to it. This would be a great decorative piece for a gun room , man cave or above the fireplace at the cabin.
