Most antique gun enthusiasts are aware of the history of American craftsmen of fine long rifles, commonly known as “Kentucky Rifles”, but some may not be aware that some of these same artisans made pistols as well. Here is just such an example. The bottom of the barrel set is marked with a “CB”, as well as a name which is unfortunately not terribly legible. It is also serial numbered “85”. The gun features superposed barrels and a metal ramrod that fits alongside the barrels on the left side. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrel is round and 7 inches in length. 13.5 inches overall length. Caliber: .56 percussion Bores are rifled and in good condition. The firing mechanism is functional.
