Description:
1863 Civil War Brooklyn Arms Co. Slocum Pocket Revolver

Ingenious & Unique Rollin White Workaround

Here we present an antique Brooklyn Arms Co. Slocum Pocket Revolver, made during the American Civil War in Brooklyn, New York from 1863 to 1864. This little revolver was a unique and ingenious way to bypass the Rollin White “bored through cylinder” patent, exclusively held at the time by the famous Smith & Wesson. The design featured a rotating cylinder with five chambers, each with individual chambers that slid independently of one another for loading and unloading.

This specimen is numbered 4679 out of 10,000. The brass frame bears scroll engraving.

Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. No other examples found online!

Barrel is round and 3 inches in length. 7 inches overall length.

Caliber: .32 rimfire

The bore is in good condition and the firing mechanism is functional.

Overall condition as seen in photos.

Make this byproduct of Smith & Wesson’s dominance in the small arms market of the 19th century a part of your collection today.
