Description:
The S&W Top-Break .32 Double Action 4th Model was manufactured from 1883 to 1909 with approximatley 43,406 made. The top-break revolvers were fitted with 5-shot fluted cylinders, fitted with either a 3, 3 1/4, 3 1/2, 4, 5, or 6 inch barrel, black checkered hard rubber grips, blue or nickel finished, and were chambered in .32 S&W. This all numbers matching, 1898 vintage, gun is as described and is fitted with a 3 1/2 inch barrel, and is nickel plated. The gun is fine condition, retaining about 90+% of its original nickel finish, the grips fit perfectly, have minimal wear and have no cracks or chips. The bore has good rifling but there are areas of corrosion. The action functions well, timing is good and it has good lock-up.
