Early 19th Century Martially Marked Pistol
Here we present an antique French Model of 1822 Percussion Pistol, made at the arsenal of St. Etienne, France in the mid-19th century. The 19th century was a fast-paced century for France as it dramatically oscillated between tyrant and republic. In addition to its own internal turmoil, this pistol may very well have witnessed history in Mexico during the Second Franco-Mexican War.
