Description:
This 38-40 Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle has a blued tapered octagon 13/16" to 3/4" x 24" barrel, that is fitted with an adjustable rear sight and a bead front sight with Marble stamped on the left side and Sheard stamped on the right. The bore is good. Stamped on the top of the barrel is Manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Co. New Haven. Conn. U.S.A. Patented October 14. 1884. The P grade Walnut butt stock and forend are in good condition. Stamped on the top of the tang is Model 1892 Winchester Trademark. On top of the barrel just ahead of the adjustable rear sight is stamped 38 W.C.F. The metal finish on the action is heavily worn with little color remaining. Serial number is 2XXXX6. Length of pull is 13". Factory wood to metal fit - made by Winchester Repeating Arms. Condition: Good.
