Winchester Model 23 Golden Quail 20ga Limited Edition 1 of 500 (ca. 1984) 25 1/2" barrels choked IC/M w/ concave matted rib w/ "Golden Quail" marked on rib, coined finish receiver w/ game scenes and inlayed "Golden Quail" bobwhite bust on bottom marked 1 of 500 "Golden Quail", nice piece of feather crotch American walnut w/ checkered straight hand grip, checkered side panels with Fleur de Lis, and checkered semi-beavertail forend. Gun is 98% overall w/ some very minor handling marks on the stock, metal and bores are perfect and may even be unfired. In maker's case w/ original paperwork and hang tag.
