Description:
Parker Bros. No. 1 Frame GHE 16ga, "Special Steel" 30" barrels w/ ejectors. Capped pistol grip stock w/ Silver's pad, splinter forend, and double triggers. vignettes of game scene engraving on both sides of receiver as well as bottom and complements of scroll engraving. Gun has just the slightest hint of original case colors on the receiver but strong in protected areas such as the water table, under the top lever and inside the trigger bow. The action screws are slightly out of time but not badly damaged, the barrels were re-blued sometime ago but the bores are perfect and barrels have no dents or damage. Ejectors are strong and in time. Barrels are on face w/ the forearm attached but have a little bit of movement with the forearm removed. Forearm has a small crack on the right side from the forend iron. Gold shiled is marked "H". Description is honest but sounds worse than the gun is in person. Just an honest ole' Parker in a medium grade and a relatively rare gun.
