Old Sioux Dance Rattle. Beautiful Native American dance rattle. This old Sioux relic has the shaft snake skin wrapped and stitch with cotton thread. The grip area has been seed beaded. Very Good condition for its age. The gourd rattle is attached by having the shaft passing though the center of the gourd and secured with an Indian tanned thong. The gourd has been colored with earth dye. Great addition to your Native American collection. Guarantee to be the real deal, it came to me direct from the old timer that collected it 70 years ago.
