REDUCED -- I do not think there were too many of these 2&3/4 inch Model 500's ever made. I'm told most were shipped with a pilot's survival kit and were intended for bush pilots in Alaska. Aside from all this we offer the revolver in near mint condition. Gun has been fired but very few times. It is perfect in all respects. Mint bore and chambers. Minty original finish, etc. This is the only short barreled .500 we have ever seen. It is an early gun. And, it comes with the original S&W box, papers, label, fired case, lock, etc. etc. As said these have not been available for some time - with or without a survival kit. Just the perfect revolver itself and scarce as hen's teeth.
