Antique Mediterranean 1700s Flintlock Pirate & Cavalry Pistol
Late 18th Century Pistol
Here we present an antique Mediterranean Flintlock Pistol from the late 1700s. This pistol is of the type that is all business. There are but a few faint markings on the metal surfaces. It is a large firearm and one that many may figure for a “pirate’s” gun, however, it is equally likely that this pistol would have been carried by a horse mounted individual. The large, heavy and pointed butt-cap would have made this pistol devastating to an opponent, even though empty.
