Very Rare with 700 Made / Providence, RI Police

Here we present an antique Allen & Wheelock Providence Police Percussion Revolver, made circa 1860. The total production of this pistol was only about 700 pieces, making this a very rare and desirable pistol for your collection. This .36 caliber, 5 shot revolver was made for the Providence, Rhode Island police department just prior to the beginning of the American Civil War. None of these pistols bear any patent or maker’s markings, but they have been long recognized in the firearms collecting world as Allen & Wheelock.

This pistol features matching serial numbers and comes with the pictured ramrod.
