Flintlock Pistol Revolutionary War Gunmaker American Revolutionary War Pistol Here we present an antique T. Ketland & Co. Flintlock Pistol, made circa 1770s in Birmingham, England. Thomas Ketland’s firearms were used by the British during the American Revolutionary War, but were also imported prior to the conflict. This little self-defense pistol features a turn off barrel and a folding trigger. The folding trigger made for easier carry in a pocket, and the turn off barrel allowed the user to load a larger projectile for better gas seal, versus a pistol that is loaded by muzzle.
