Antique Engraved Brass Taratt of London Percussion Pistol
A favorite of President Andrew Jackson
Here we present an antique Engraved English Taratt of London Percussion Pistol, made circa 1830 in Belgium. This is a very nice pistol and would have been marketed to a wealthier clientele. In fact, American President Andrew Jackson is documented as having owned a Taratt that looks very much like this one.
It is very nice in appearance and features a brass frame that is engraved. The grip is very ergonomic and makes for a very low bore axis.
