Special Feature Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle, .30 WCF cal., features the rare 26" half-octagon half-round barrel,
half "button" magazine, pistol-grip walnut stock and forend, Winchester pistol grip cap held in place by a finely
engraved screw, shotgun butt, with dovetailed blade front sight with buckhorn rear sight.
Made in 1905. Condition is fine, retaining approx. 80%+ original blue with most of the wear to the high edges
and at the balance point. The lever and hammer retain approx. 25%-30% case colors. Stock with normal bruises and scratches,
as well as some darkening and a few small losses where wood meets upper tang.
All markings remain crisp and clear.
Action is crisp and tight, and bore is bright and shiny, and rates a 9.5 out of 10.
Serial number is 324261 - mfg. 1905. If you have access to the Winchester records, check out the serial number. ALL ORIGINAL as manufactured by Winchester.
Overall, with the deluxe rifle feature, the optional button mag, pistol grip, and half octagon, half round barrel, along with the great condition, makes this a very desirable collector’s Winchester.
This would be one of the centerpieces of any great Winchester collection.
The blue book says $9500 for a 80% condition deluxe rifle, which doesn’t even take into consideration the rare half octagon barrel, or the button mag.
With the multiple options and in equally amazing condition, makes this Winchester a steal.
I have just REDUCED the price AGAIN for this amazing rifle, to only $2300.
