Description:
Boss & Co. best quality sidelock ejector. Original 28" Damascus barrels and additional factory steel barrels. The Damascus barrels bear the St. James's Street address and are choked .009/.035 (open modified and full) and maintain a wonderful star pattern Damascus. The additional 28" steel barrels, fitted by Boss circa 1979, bear the Cork Street address and are choked .007/.017 (improved cylinder and modified). 2-3/4" chambers, double triggers, splinter forend. Nicely figured straight hand stock measures 1-1/2" comb, 2-1/4" heel, 14-3/4" LOP to a checkered butt. The action features the finest Boss pattern rose and scroll and retains a wonderful patina of case color hardening. The gun appears to be unused since the return to the factory for additional barrels. Weighing just 6 lbs, 6 oz., a fast-handling British best. Cased in the original oak and leather plus an additional case fitted just for the new barrels. Complete set of spare mainsprings, toplever springs, and striker pins.
