Description:
An excellent example of a Curtiss and Harvey smokeless "Amberite" powder can. This black powder substitute could be used for shotguns and rook rifles but not rifles. This excellent tin shows most of its original mustard brown paint, front and rear labels and the original cap with most of the label size is "7 C 5". A great display piece with a shotgun or rook rifle; as well as a superior tin for the powder can collector. 7" tall, 6" wide & 2.5" deep at base.
