Rare Civil War Era Pocket Pistol
Here we present an antique and rare Ethan Allen & Co. .22 Sidehammer Pocket Revolver, made from 1858-1865. Only 1,500 of these were ever made, and this was the 8th issue or variation. The pistol has seven shots of .22 rimfire short and is a handy size for keeping in the pocket. This specimen is handsome with a well preserved nickel finish on an iron frame, with the sidehammer being a distinctive feature, and bone grips in the attractive bird’s head shape.
This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction.
Barrel is 2.375 inches in length.

Bore is good condition and the firearm is in good working order.
