Very Collectible Colt Revolver
Here we present an antique Colt “Pocket Model of Navy Caliber” Revolver, or simply Pocket Navy. These revolvers were made from 1863-1872, and under 22,000 of them were made for the U.S. market—many of them converted at the factory to cartridge firearms. That makes this Colt quite scarce for collectors, especially in the percussion configuration.
The revolver is marked with Colt’s New York address on the top of the barrel. It was made as a 5 shot weapon and is .36 caliber. All numbers match.
