We are offering for sale a very early COLT Woodsman MATCH TARGET semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22LR caliber. This is a FIRST SERIES pistol manufactured in 1940. Pistol is in highly collectible condition and remains very attractive with minimal handling wear.
6.75” barrel remains very good with about 95% bluing. Bore is clean with strong rifling. There is some light wear on either side where barrel meets frame. Frame is very good retaining the majority of original bluing; crisp marks. Both barrel and frame have factory matte top edge. Semi-auto action functions flawlessly! Original elephant ear grips have a couple repaired cracks; Wonderful patina to the wood. Original OEM magazine included; Heel release.
