Antique French M1816 Maubeuge Flintlock Musket
Late French Flintlock Musket
Here we present an antique French M1816 Maubeuge Musket, made in 1822 at the Maubeuge arsenal. This musket was standard issue in the years following the Napoleonic Wars. The model “1816” is present on the barrel tang. The year of production is noted both on the left side of the barrel and the right side of the butt stock.
This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction.
Barrel is 40.5 inches in length.
Caliber: .69
Bore is in good condition. The firing mechanism is functional.
