Antique Colt 1877 Lightning Double Action Sheriff’s Model Revolver
Cased with Accoutrements
Here we present an antique Colt 1877 Lightning Double Action Revolver, made from 1877-1909. This one is serial numbered in the 74000s and falls in the range of those that are antiques made prior to 1899. The 1877 was Colt’s first production double action revolver. One notable figure in the American West that was known to carry one was William “Billy the Kid” Bonney the night that he was shot by Pat Garrett.
This pistol features the Hartford barrel address and a lot of original bluing. This is an excellent gun and would make a fantastic display in any collection with the custom case.

The bore is in fantastic condition and the only part of the firing mechanism that needs work is the trigger return spring.
