Model 1 Pepperbox Pistol, made from 1859-1874 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is a very interesting design for a pocket gun as it has four fixed barrels in a square configuration, and the firing pin rotates 90 degrees with every pull of the hammer. A button on the front of the frame allows all four barrels to slide forward enough to load and unload. This pistol features nicely scrolled gutta percha grips and a brass frame. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrel is 2.5 inches in length and the total gun length is 4.5 inches. Caliber: .22 rimfire Bores are in fair condition. This firing mechanism is functional. The plunger for the barrel release has been modified in a homemade repair. Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE.
