Description:

1971 12ga Diana Grade 30” F/M narrow (8mm) vent rib Trap model in excellent + original condition. Long-tang trigger guard. Double-signed M.Bodson. 1-1/2” x 1-3/4” x 14-3/8” to its original Browning trap pad. This gun will 'letter' from Browning, originally sold July 18, 1972 to Sportsman's Enterprise, Elkhart, Indiana. The only detail I am aware of that keeps this gun from being 'perfect' is a small wood-seasoning check at the recoil pad (See last photo) which appears to have been epoxy-stabilized from the end grain. I will be happy to furnish additional photo confirmation of internals or any other views/details desired to serious inquiries. This is a very clean gun that is still 'factory' tight. I bought this gun in July 2014 with intentions of having choke tubes installed to shoot Sporting Clays with. I took it to the gun club on 3 different occasions (with other guns) in the first 6 weeks and could not bring myself to shoot it. I eventually shot a round of skeet and a round of trap, which proved adequate for my purposes  In the meantime, I found a used fixed LM/LM gun more suitably-choked (for me) for sporting clays and decided against having this collector grade Diana 'tubed', or having the chokes altered. My collecting interests (with regard to this Diana example) also changed. This is a VERY nice collector, or would make a great trap, sporting clays, or pheasant gun. Personal check, cashier's check, or money order accepted. 7-day waiting times apply for all except Postal money order. 3-day non-shooting, non-disassembly inspection. Gun does not leave the receiving FFL until either transferred to new owner or returned via that FFL. Buyer pays actual shipping and insurance costs to lower 48 states - No international shipments. If you are not satisfied with the item as priced, return it in the same condition and as packaged to my FFL, I will provide an FFL, re-inspect item and refund the sale price less my initial shipping and insurance costs and re-transfer fees.
