J.P. SAUER & SON DBL. RIFLE, 43 Mauser, SN 5889XX, 25 7/8" bbls., fully matted rib, doll's head extension, 2 locking lugs, outside hammers, engraved in a floral scene, back action locks marked "J.P. Sauer & Sohn Suhl" as are both bbls., open sights, set triggers for both bbls., checkered PG stock with cheek rest, 1/2" extension the stock with original buttplate, 14 1/2" pull, stock was not cut just a piece added, sling swivels, engraved steel PG cap, exc. wood with lots of figure, checkered forend with Deely & Edge lever release, bbls. have 90% blue, quite a few proof marks on bottom of bbl., besides the open sights the rifle has a fold down adj. tang sight that folds into tang so tang is smooth on top, splinter type forend, nice stream lined looking rifle.
