About Us: Since 2000, the Agent "William L. Campbell" and "Peter Pelican" have been members of the Civil War living history community. With adopted first person names, they have gone throughout the Midwest, South, and Eastern regions under such as the Old Northwest Volunteers and Co. B of the 36th Illinois Infantry. They have portrayed both sides of the War, and are continuously involved in Civil War matters since elementary school. ? The Agents began buying and selling muskets at first for their own collection and living history purposes, but then decided to launch a full-time page for Civil War artifacts, mostly concentrating on reproduction and original muskets, gun tools, and image artifacts in 2014.

Description:
This started off as an m1816 flintlock musket, but underwent a conversion early in the war. This particular model was converted in 1861 from an 1831 Springfield musket, and has the state of New Jersey stamp from one of 20,000 they had converted.

It has all four remaining stock cartouches, and is untouched otherwise. This musket is in very good condition, with minor pitting around the breech and other areas of the gun. Otherwise, it is smooth overall, and would make an excellent reenacting piece or collection addition. The cone comes out easy, and the bolster screw functions and easily removable for cleaning as well. The bore is smooth, and would be an excellent candidate to reline to shoot .69 minie balls, or to leave as is. The stock is sturdy, with a superficial crack on the buttstock. The other areas of the musket are sound, and has the proper cupped ramrod (not pictured, but has the threads for a worm).

I am willing to ship, and the price includes shipping through USPS. ($25)  I have listed this on ArmsInt and I another online gun site as well. Please feel free to ask any questions.
