.44 Double Action .44 DA 1st model also known as New Model Navy Number 3 .44 S&W Russian caliber, 6 shot fluted cylinder, 4" barrel, top break, excellent original grips. Serial number 17240, manufactured 1881. 85% original nickle. Very Strong rifling with very bright shinny clean bore. Action works perfectly and locks up tight. A common revolver of the American frontier. These are very good shooters in this caliber. Ammo is available in most good gun shops. This is an ANTIQUE and can be shipped directly to you.
